Her work is like a door opening into a fantasy, a passage into a world of color to dive into.

Ursula Schwartz was born and raised in South Africa. Her roots and connection with Africa remains to be the continuous inspiration for her work. Her tenacious attitude to embrace new beginnings and take on challenges is a result of her upbringing in Africa. Art making is her passion and this talent revealed itself early in her childhood. 

Ursula works with oil paint and occasionally adds other mediums. She currently lives in South Florida. 

Her creative energy has evolved over the past few decades and in order to remain authentic in her work she resides by one rule and that is to always be true to yourself.

 She paints what she feels. The manifestation of the ability to communicate emotion to the recipient of art is the personification of the work of Ursula Schwartz.
